Karissa Ramirez

Meet Karissa Ramirez! Karissa graduated as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2018 from Brightwood College. With over 5 years of being a Registered Dental Assistant and more than 10 years in customer service, her love for the patients has not only blossomed but they have become more like family to me. The most rewarding part of her job is "taking care of the patients and helping them to achieve a beautiful smile." Her goal as a dental assistant is making sure that the patient's feel comfortable and makes sure that they have a positive experience and that they would come back regularly. She enjoys getting to know each patient and providing a personal touch for each encounter.
Karissa understands the nervousness when patients come across their extensive treatment plan and makes sure to help them ease their nerves. Another great asset to having Karissa as a part of our team is that she speaks fluent Spanish. Another thing about Karissa is that she understands the stress of the patient and will make sure the patient's needs and wants are heard and listened to. She also wants to further her knowledge of dental assisting and getting her certification in sealant placement, nitrous oxide monitoring and coronal polishing in order to be a better dental assistant.
Outside of the office
In her free time, Karissa loves to spend time with her only daughter Emma, nieces and her family. She enjoys going shopping with her daughter Emma, going to new coffee shops, travelling and just overall being outdoors. While she loves being outdoors with her daughter Emma, she also loves FOOD!, watching a good tv show or movie or spending time with her friends and going to concerts. Her love of music is just as great as her love of dentistry!
Pauline Marrison
Patient Care Coordinator
Pauline graduated from SACMD&A, as a RDA. She has worked her way throughout the dental office over the years providing the highest quality of care to patients. As a dedicated professional leader, she has over 28 years of experience in dentistry, spanning from pediatrics to adult care.
She understands the importance of a healthy smile and she strives to help others achieve their
best dental health. As a mom of three children/young adults she understands all the financial aspects that may be present when trying to achieve the best dental care.
Pauline helps you with your dental insurance or without. She will work hard to help each patient to overcome the obstacles that may be present when trying to achieve your best smile. She takes pride in being a supportive leader and a team player. Together as a dental office, we believe in making a positive impact in the lives of our patients, one smile at a time.
Personal Life
Outside the office, Pauline is involved in providing donations to the Homeless Women/Children and her Community. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, extended family and her 3 Fur Babies. Pauline enjoys traveling, volunteering, dining out and relaxing with a movie or quiet time when it is available.
